What classes and grade levels do you teach at Coastline Christian Schools?

Pre-Algebra and 8th grade Physical Science

What do you love most about Coastline Christian Schools?

Christ-center learning environment and the devoted Christ-like teachers and their caring inspired me.

What is one word that best describes the school?  Tell why you chose that word.

Caring - since my children joined CCS, I've never encountered any staff or teachers who don't care about students' social, emotional, and spiritual growth.

Why do you like teaching at Coastline Christian Schools?

I get to share about my personal life stories with the students and to see how my students build a closer relationship with God. I also love my colleagues because we share each other's burdens and care for and support each other.

What sets CCS students apart from students in other schools?

We set high expectations to lift individual student's potential and we spend time daily to build students' character.

What do you want your students to gain from having known you?

I want to be their role model to love God and have a personal relationship with God.

What is a unique experience, talent, or interest that you bring to your classroom to help shape the learning experience of your students?

Being an engineer for 17 years, I applied a lot of math and science knowledge at my work. I bring this practical math and science experience into my classroom learning to help students connect to the real world problem. The students might think what they learn in the classroom is only textbook knowledge. However, they now can link and apply this textbook knowledge and use it in real life.
