HORNS UP

Last week, our boys flag football team had their first game against Milpitas Christian. It was a close game going into the fourth quarter but we eventually lost 6-18. The boys played extremely well and we are excited to see how they continue to grow throughout the season. We play Milpitas Christian two more times!

This week, our boys host Valley Christian (Tuesday) and Prince of Peace (Wednesday). Both games are played at Godfrey Park, 281 Beach Rd., Alameda, CA 94502. Game time is 3:30 PM. We hope to see you there!

Our boys and girls cross country teams have their first race on Wednesday. They have been working hard and we are excited to see how they do on Wednesday!

We are also excited to unveil our new PE uniforms! Here are pictures of our shirt and shorts. Long sleeve shirts, with the same design, will also be available. Our current PE uniforms may be worn for the remainder of this year and the following two years.

HORNS UP? Why is there "HORNS UP" on the shirt? Horns Up is our new PE/Sports mantra. It's another way of saying "let's go" or "it's game time." It also serves as a reminder that no matter the result, we want to leave the activity with our heads up, knowing that we put forth our best effort.

So, with two football games and one cross country meet this week, HORNS UP and GO RAMS!
