He Qi is a well-known Chinese Christian artist with many art pieces that show the hope we have in Christ. One of his passions in his work is encouraging the creation of modern Chinese Christian art to help change the foreign image that Christianity has in China. Check out He Qi’s beautiful art pieces and be inspired by the hope we find in Jesus.

Perseverance

We invite you to take time to remember the important truths of what being followers of Jesus is all about. This week’s theme is PERSEVERANCE

Scripture Reading

“Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.” Romans 5:3-5

Creative Response

Part of having perseverance is praying. When families have time to pray together, kids are directly communicating with God and learning it is not just a thing you do before meals and bedtime. Try this Family Prayer Jar activity with your kids.

Or write this scripture and draw a picture for your teacher about this verse: “Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you." - Matthew 17:20

Start an online journal. Answer each day:

Turn it into a family activity and make it a group online journal and share during mealtimes.
