All our students grades K-8th take technology classes where they learn basic computer and presentation skills, coding, scratch, digital citizenship, and much more. We use the Beyond Technology curriculum and in Middle School each student receives a Chromebook to use for their learning and studies.
VISUAL AND PERFORMING ARTS
Our art courses are designed to help students increase their awareness of different mediums, techniques and history of art. Students will be exposed to different principles and elements of 2D and 3D art to give them a wide range of experiences. These classes will help them understand art so that they gain a greater appreciation for beauty and art around them and the history behind it. Students will create original works to be submitted to the Alameda County Fair at the end of the year. Through this experience, students will gain a deeper understanding of the process of creating art.
In Drama, students will learn how to express themselves through their voice and actions. This is a basic, introductory course into theater arts, with students mainly working in groups to bring scripts to life. Over the course of the semester, they will learn to use their voice to properly convey expression and tone, and their bodies to properly convey character and reactions. Projects range from reader's theater to developing and performing their own skits at the end of the semester.
In Elementary School, we hold chapel every other week and in Middle School we hold it every week. Our spiritual theme this year is "Crazy Faith". As we endure this time of uncertainty during this COVID 19 pandemic we have chosen to not be paralyzed by fear, but to be courageous and bold because we have faith our Lord and Savior will carry us through these uncertain times. Our spiritual goal for our students is to inspire faith and to know God personally as their Lord and Savior. Click Here to watch one of our chapels.
Trunk or Treat
BACBC, TTP, and CCS hold an annual Trunk or Treat Event. At the last event over 700 people attended throughout the evening to enjoy the candy, costumes, pumpkins, food, and fellowship. Alumni, friends, and neighbors from our surrounding communities also joined in on the fun and we all can't wait to dress up again! We look forward to seeing you at our next Trunk or Treat event!
Each fall we hold an International Day event where all grades K-8th come together to celebrate the many different countries and cultures around the world. Each grade chooses a different country each year to present their food, cultural activity, and dress for all to experience on this special day!
Ram Run Fundraiser
For the past 5 years during spring we hold our annual Ram Run Fundraiser and carnival! This event always brings about great excitement, teamwork, and unity within our school and church community. We have been able to raise over 200,000 in this fundraiser to help fund the installation of a brand new athletic turf field! Go Rams!
